it's Sunday... read the Newspaper, drink a great cup of coffee, and put your feet up...
here in the USA it is a holiday weekend and many of us have tomorrow Monday off... which make to day even nicer..
Sunday here in the Northeast is suppose to be beautiful... sunny and nice, in the high 70's..
a good day to get outside... i plan on doing some work in the garden and plant the large flower box..
I am glad everyone seem to be doing better... but special prayers and good thoughts are being sent for everyone..

Hello, I haven't checked in for a while but I'm still here. Happy Memorial Day everybody. I heard on the news here that we are supposed to have a moment of silence and prayer at 3:00 PM where ever you live on Memorial day.

Hello all. Seems I haven't been here in sooo long. This week the whole family came down with a stomach flu of sorts all at once. Great fun for a mom, lol. Then have a "medium" sized bbq planned for tomorrow that I figured I would have to cancel. But, fortunately, I started feeling better by Friday so the party is on! Worked today to get my tator salad and deviled eggs done. Then, got into an arguement with hubby today. Going to making my bbq baby back ribs on the grill for the party. A little history here... I am famous in these parts for my ribs, it's my recipe, my spotlight. Told hubby I would do the grilling and he didn't have to worry about anything. Well, he got all mad and feelings hurt claiming, "grilling is a man's job". Well sorry, have been doing my ribs for many years (we've only been married 3 years now) and really want them to turn out good. He tends to grill things till they are beyond dead! Finally made him feel a little better by letting him grill dinner tonight. But he's still sulking cause I'm doing the ribs tomorrow, lol! Hey sorry!

Hi everyone, I'm back in case you didn't notice. I've been out of commission for a while due to my crappy old back. I had to go to the ER about 2 wks ago the pain was so unbearable. I'm scheduled to have an MRI just to see what's going on. I have 3 herniated disks but this pain was something else!! Well everyone have a wonderful Memorial day and comence ta eatin'....julie

UPDATE: Crinthia is sooo much better than when she came home from the other surgry.She has pain but nothing like the first time. She said to thank everyone for the prayers and well wishes, she needed them.
