Thursday's Throwdown
Sausage subs with peppers and onions, red sauce and provolone cheese melted over top. Raw veggies and ranch dressing for dipping. Quick tiramisu~kid request.

wow it must be sausage night at all our houses... seriously....

Im doing a sausage and broccoli over pasta dish and a salad. I have a busy day, with both an collective city art show (where I have a piece of art in) and an open mic in which I will play/sing at - so I will eat early and get going....

need more caffeine to get things done today!

Well, divalicious, you know what they say about great minds thinking alike!!! Or do we all have the same obsession about sausages. LOL

Pierogis are on the menu for Father's day. Dad#2's request.

Nope... doing chicken wings.. marinaded in a sweet honey soy mix... no recipe.. just a dump thing.. Used a dressing base... Doing on grill.. natch.
Brocolli... garlic and olive oil... and some sort of starch.. not sure yet.. potatoes.. ?? Egg noodles.. Hummmm

Wings sound delightful, aren't dump marinades the best? but then you can't quite replicate a really good mix. Measuring is sometimes a good thing. LOL

Know what, I did sausage too....Made a sausage, onion, and cheese quiche...With a
green salad....First time doing a quiche and it came out great....Kinda a dump thing too...Real men do eat quiche....:)

Welp! In the home stretch on this dang cake that has given me FITS all day...so I'll probably make some pork chops & gravy, hashbrowns and veggies.

I'll be so glad when this thing's done...

In the vein of keeping heat out of the kitchen, took mother out to Shoneys. Never been there before. Won't be back either. Greasy food. Deep fryer oil too hot. Saw a lot of cars in the parking lot and I made a rash decision that the food must be ok. Had to stop by Hardee's on the way home to get a good piece of food to help sop up all the extra grease in my stomach.

We don't have Shoneys anylonger here.. Hummmmmmmmmmmm could be why! I do like Texas Roadhouse.. But we really don't eat out much..
We have been beating the heat in the kitchen by grilling.

Wings were wonderful.. nice and sticky! Made a Mac salad with tuna to go with.. that way I have that for tomorrow nite.. I am getting so lazy...
