shine 4 months ago said: Satiating Saturday I'm giving a cooking class this afternoon on Thai food, and I thought I'd stop by and before I had to get ready. I've been busy all weak and unable to participate as much as I'd like here. So, I thought I'd stir things up!
The menu for the class: Oriental salad with Sesame Ginger dressing, Thai barbecued ribs, Thai green curry with chicken, Thai fried rice, coconut ice cream on coconut rice for dessert.
It's been a long week, but there is light at the end of the tunnel! I love giving these classes, plus tomorrow is Father's Day, so I'm taking the day off! My little girl is coming over with some kind of surprise that she has been restraining herself from telling me! Some friends are visiting from Ireland, and are going to stop by tomorrow evening also!
Have a good one... what are you guys doing for dinner today?

Fred is lucky we are talking to him, he vanished for seven hours yesterday...took the keys and took a powder to his house arrest. Long day, long story. I"m a wreck.

Tonight:
Roast pork loin with lemon/garlic marinade Scalloped asparagus (posted recipe, not mine but sounds wonderful) Smashed baked potatoes
Not sure about dessert.
Gobs, but I love weekends!!!

I went to the farmers market in town, first one of the season - so some sort of grilled chicken/grilled zucchini - something to do with spinach - maybe a salad...rest of that banana cake
Hot and sticky in NY today... there's a haze in the sky. Hope all of you out there in tornado land are keeping safe! Leah
