good morning everyone

good morning Pops, Liezel, Ahmed, Ambus, Mumtaz,
Snuggly and Ronny.

I hope it is a nice morning and things are going smoothly...be careful out on the roads...
Kids here are all over on their ATV's and many are just learning to drive...

well we are almost to the weekend.... just a few more hours and it's Friday Night.!!! Plan some fun things because the seasons just go too fast...

It is 6:15 Thursday evening here and we had a beautiful day... it was nice to have the windows open...

I'm off to the kitchen for a snack and a glass of ice coffee... you are welcome to join me... it's self serve tonight.!!

I found out yesterday that my section of AR is the Boston Mountains and Ozarks is a region.

If you have not tried Plaeclare's spray for pests I can vouch that it got rid of my squirrels. Sprayed the tree in an area of about 4 feet around my feed blocks . The come down the tree and stick their heads way out to smell and either continue down or scoot back up. I and my birds thank you.

They predicted a huge storm coming from OK :it got cloudy and then gone. It looked bad so is OK with me.

Praying always for Dave and no nothing yet hope we hear from Linda..

Hello all. Checking in late for Thursday but early for Friday, lol. Have a busy weekend ahead of me. Littlest ones birthday party is Saturday so have many last minute things to do. Will check in when I can.

Looks like another GORGEOUS day here in the Poconos! Today is self-beautification day!! Manicure, pedicure and haircolor! I kind of dread the whole process itself (I'm a very fidgety person), but the results are worth it! Of course, my nails will probably get destroyed with all the packing I've yet to do................sigh

It looks like another gorgeous day here in New England too!

I had three grandsons here overnight and now they are awake and need the pancakes and bacon they ordered last night. They're planning on spending some time in the pool......we have ages 10, 7 and 3 here....Woo Hoo!!!!!

Gillygirl, I agree with kimmer, stop by when you can. Most of us miss from time to time. If someone comments on not hearing from you, then you know that were thinking of you and care.

Pat, your halo is showing, Thank god you have the patients to handle it. I enjoy mine when they are here but feel relieved when it's just the two of us again. Guess I'm getting in a rut.

Glad the migrains has left the two of you. I can't imagine the disconfort because I never have headaches, never a hangover either.

JM, I found out that very few people know there's a Boston mountain in the USA, I've been in them so I know where your talking about. Your close to Benton,Ak. right?

GG I'll be joining you in getting my nails done today. They always look so nice when you first get them done. Although since I started using this american girl the past year mine always seem to hold up better and look nice. When they grow out you can't tell you need fill in's.

Just got a pm from LINEB..... they are both home... it was a long day yesterday and she had to be at the hospital this morning until they released him....

so they are both ok and exhausted..... she said she may get on later tonight or sometime over the weekend..

Here I am... Dave is home.. Been a VERY long two days. I will be so ready for bed tonight! The surgery took longer than thought.. he was under for almost 5 hours. BUT.. the wonders of modern medicine..They had him up last night about 10pm ... walking. Only bad part today was the visit to the VA to pick up his new meds.. I had to show the crazy Linda to get it taken care of AFTER.. .they let him sit there for over an hour. By the time they called him... he could not walk... they had to approve the med by the civilian DR... And Dave had to be there. Lot's of people got alert when he almost fell... They had to put him in a wheel chair.. I have him home now.. getting ready to fix him some ham panini's.. With the collar he has to wear.. he has trouble getting food to mouth.. But is wanting food.. so that is a good sign!

Thank you all for your support.. and prayers. I feel that it made such a difference on getting this done.. I have been fighting the VA since MARCH... And you guys start .. and walla, VA lets him have it here! Thank you.. and thank God.

Here one area of town the streets are named after flowers from here.. One is Lilac! Hello.. no Lilacs grow here! LOL Wish they did!

You see, I did not say BAHSTON so it's OK to have them in Arkansas.
And more's the pity ...no clams. But our fish (HA) dept. has them and oysters in containers.Problem is, they were frozen and have defrosted.

I used to get fresh clams at the Jersey shore to make clams oreganato and white clam sauce. mmm they were good too. and cherrystones on the halfshell.

OK I am leaving for NJ LOL..gotta have some.
