We are having an annual family get-together in a couple of weeks, it will be about 3-4 hours from home for me, and, will be a picnic, held outside. It's at my Dad's cousin's house, and they are furnishing the meat and deviled eggs. I know my Dad will do potato salad and slaw. Anyone have a good idea for something that will travel well, hold up outside, and preferrably not have to be heated when we get there?

Maybe a pasta dish with an oil/vinegarette, which can be made just before the trip so the drive time would serve as time for all the flavors to marry together.

Cherry-tomatoes, bazil-leaves, Olive-oil, Salt.
Takes about a minute to make and people will lick their fingers. I take this to all my family get-togethers. Full recipe on my food page.
