So, I estimate 12 servings to be on the safe side. The meal should consist of chicken, a vegetarian entree, bread, dessert, beverage, and two side dishes (vegetarian friendly). Can anyone help me out? The budget is $50.

If half the group is, then you could get away with roasting 1 whole chicken. If less than you'll probally need 2 whole chickens or maybe a turkey breast My Lemon-herb roast chicken http://www.grouprecipes.com/44472/lemon-herb-roasted-chicken.html Is very festive. One side dish could be homemade scallop potates http://www.grouprecipes.com/44707/scalloped-potatoes.html is cheap and easy to make. That would be a good start for a holiday meal.
