Until I saw this sort of ridculous behaviour with my own eyes I couldn't begin to imagine it happening on a cooking forum. Now that it has happened I started looking around for controls.
I play World of Warcraft which is an online game in which I interact real time with millions of other players from around the globe. This sort of interactive, real-time human interaction community means that there will be a few idiots will stalk you, offend you or otherwise irritate you from time to time. The Software publishers of these sorts of games have realized that it is going to happen.
For such an event they provide two methods of defense. One is a keyboard function /ignore which means any contact from the offending party will simply be ignored and you won't even know it happened. The second method is to report the offender for breach of the terms of service agreement which will get the person banned.
The more I look, the less I find any method of raising a complaint or defending against the woefully moronic -- e.g. Mountain Mama.
Am I missing anything?

If you want to get in Email Lana through GR and she can give you an in she is the administrater of the site.. Chef Elaine is there as well as Lana Sharyl Frodo and several others including myself. I still like GR so I go back and forth. I know if you send Lana an email through GR it will alert her regular email and she will get back to you. That is why it has been pretty quiet here.

I think it is just more prevelant to Chef Elaine because she has stuff posted about her directly on her page so you can "see" the drama ..whereas if you haven't been online for a week or so you wouldn't notice that someones scores went down.
