Ways to measure peanut butter?
Anyone have an easy, less messy way to measure pb for a recipe? I have a measuring "thingy" I use, that is specifically for things like pb. But, the old standby... Say you want 1 cup of pb. Put 1 cup of cool water into a 2 cup glass measure. Then drop in gobs of pb until the water reaches the 2 cup line. Pour out the water (holding the pb back with a spoon) and when the water is gone, you have exactly 1 cup of pb left!

I usually put some plastic wrap in a measuring cup....add peanut butter and then if it sticks to the wrap, scrape it off with a spatula.

I do the same as you, jett....another trick is to lightly spray the measuring cup with cooking spray and then measure out the peanut butter....:)
