eddible flower and herb garden help
I am making a 10 yard square formal elevated flower and herb garden stepped up in 1 foot increments toward the center. It should look something like an Inca pyramid when finished.

I'm looking for suggestions on what flowers and herbs and maybe a few vegetables I should plant and in what arrangement I can use to keep the shorter plants to the outside of the garden and progressing to the taller ones the farther into the garden.

Second leg of the base square is completed. Went out and bought a rubber mallet to help set and level the stones. Much more easy on the hands. Things should go quicker now.

Here's a link to a good list of edible flowers to help get you started with some ideas - I bet it is going to look wonderful...

some of my favorites edible flowers though are: marigold, nasturtium (though be careful where you plant these, as aphids love 'em - so plant then next to the marigolds to help keep away the aphids), lavender, mustard plants - butterflies love these, pansies, and violets.

Herbs - well don't even get me started - thyme, rosemary, cilantro, parsley, chives (flowers edible too) just to name a few Points
