I've been to a few that it seemed I had to bake for a solid week just to make enough cookies for the swap. It was expensive and I was exhausted. *16 participants held at the host's condominium great room* It was too crowded and it was HOT!

I've also been to exchanges where they only require 1/2 dozen per person, so you aren't baking as much to give out. Yeah, I can see where 16 could be a bit daunting!!

I am, by far, the foodiest of all my friends, past and present, especially when it comes to cooking. I also haven't made a big deal out of holiday cookie baking, but truthfully, I've gotten SO many complements on dishes I've made from this site, it's hard not to get really excited about what has become one of the best presents of all. (you know...the complements, not the new cookie sheets!)
Like deciding I'm throwing the Halloween party at work this year, I might try to start a cookie exchange. :) Any advice? Not inviting too many people, check. :)
