- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 2 onions, chopped shopping list
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (add more if you love mushrooms like I do) shopping list
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 3 stalks celery, sliced shopping list
- 6 matzas shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Wet matzas under running tap and crumble into large bowl. Add eggs and set aside.
- Brown beef and add to matzot when browned.
- Saute, onions, garlic, celery and mushrooms and add to bowl when softened.
- Mix everything together and stuff into 2 whole chickens. Place any leftover stuffing in roasting pan under chickens.
- Rub a little oil and paprika into chicken skins.
- Place in oven at medium-high temperature and rost for approximately 80 minutes till done.
