Easy Deep Dish Pizza

This is a recipe I found when I was first married. I wanted an easy recipe for a quick meal and found this on the back of the baking mix box. Kids love it.
Ingredients
- 3 cups baking mix (I used Bisquick) shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 2-3 teaspoons (0r 2-3 small cubes) of beef bouillon shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1 small can (or jar) of sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1/2 pound shsredded cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Lightly grease jelly roll pan, 15 1/2" x 10 1/2 " x 1 " or cookie sheet.
- Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
- Pat dough in bottom and up sides of pan with well floured hands. Or roll into rectangle 13"x10" and place on cookie sheet, pinch edges of rectangle, forming 3/4" rim.
- Cook and sitr ground beef, onion, bouillon and garlic until beef is brown and bouillon is dissolved.
- Mix tomato sauce and oregano, spread evenly over dough.
- Spoon beef mixture evenly over sauce.
- Top with mushrooms, bell pepper and cheese.
- Bake approx. 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
