How to make it

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
  • Scoop out 1 Tbsp portions of marshmallow cream onto wax paper.
  • Put in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  • After the marshmallow cream has been in the freezer for 15 minutes, begin melting the white chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring between each. (The defrost setting works the best....white chocolate seizes easily, so be careful.)
  • After the chocolate is melted, stir in the vegetable oil until completely incorporated.
  • Remove marshmallow cream from the freezer and spoom on enough chocolate to the top.
  • Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and return to the freezer.
  • When the chocolate has set, remove from the freezer and turn each drop.
  • Coat the bottom of the drop with chocolate. (You may need to heat the chocolate a little to return to the proper consistency.)
  • Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and return to the freezer.
  • Remove from the freezer and pull the drops away from the wax paper.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Top you favorite hot chocolate with these drops or eat them as is.
  • To make the vanilla sugar, place 1 split vanilla bean in 1 cup of granulated sugar. Leave in an airtight container for at least one week before use.

    A very delicious idea.

I'm guilty of eating marshmellow creme with a spoon right out of the jar...Your recipe just may make me break that habit.

    Thank-you again

    Kind Regards

    Joyce
