This is a easy pasta dish and all the ingredients can be added to taste, You could also make the sauce in a smaller quantity and serve over a grilled chicken breast

Ingredients
  • • Diced bacon
  • Diced Onion
  • Olive oil
  • Diced Chicken, 500g
  • sundried tomatos, 100g
  • Tomato & basil flavoured butter, 50g
  • Crushed garlic, 2 tsp
  • whole peeled tomatos, 1 can
  • Tomato paste, 3 Tbsp
  • Thickened or whipping cream, 1/4 cup
  • Basil , to taste
  • Pasta

Directions
  1. Boil Pasta, drain and set aside
  2. Lightly fry bacon & onion in olive oil, then set aside
  3. Fry chicken in olive oil, then set aside
  4. Fry sundried tomatos, flavoured butter, peeled tomatos, garlic & basil, approx 10 min
  5. blend fried tomato mix in blender until it reaches a sauce like consistancy
  6. combine chicken, bacon, onion & tomato sauce to pasta and simmer for 10 min or until heated through
  7. stir in cream and serve
