Ham And Cheese Soup

- 1 cup celery, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup carrots, chopped or sliced shopping list
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed shopping list
- 1 stick margarine shopping list
- ½ cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 4 cups milk shopping list
- 16 ounces cheddar cheese, grated shopping list
- 2 – 3 cups baked ham, diced shopping list
How to make it
- Cook vegetables in 3 cups salted water until tender. Make a white sauce of the margarine, flour and milk. Cook until thickened and add the grated cheese. When cheese is melted, add to the vegetables with their liquid. Add diced ham. Do not boil, but simmer until serving time.
