Simple Caprese Salad

- several ripe roma tomatoes slice long ways shopping list
- - 2 or 3 large balls of fresh mozzerella shopping list
- - large bunch of fresh basil shopping list
- - cold pressed extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- - balsamic vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Slice the tomatoes and lay them out on a large platter. Layer a slice of fresh mozzerella on top of the tomato and a leaf of basil on the top.
- Just before serving time, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and then, the olive oil. Don't put on the vinegar early, the mozzerella won't hold up.
- The red, green, and white color really looks beautiful on a platter for Christmas.
