How to make it

  • Slice the tomatoes and lay them out on a large platter. Layer a slice of fresh mozzerella on top of the tomato and a leaf of basil on the top.
  • Just before serving time, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and then, the olive oil. Don't put on the vinegar early, the mozzerella won't hold up.
  • The red, green, and white color really looks beautiful on a platter for Christmas.
