How to make it

  • Remove skin from chicken pieces and generously sprinkle chicken with garlic salt. In large deep frying pan, melt ½ stick of butter and brown chicken. Remove from pan. Melt remaining ½ stick butter, sauté onions until brown, add raisins and cook until plump. Mix 1 can of water with can of soup. Add soup mixture to onions and raisins and simmer for 5 minutes. Add chicken and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
