Venetian Chicken

- 1 large chicken (cut into thighs, breast, legs, wings) shopping list
- 1 Tbl diced onions shopping list
- 1/2 cup golden raisins shopping list
- 1/4 cup white wine (whatever available) shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 – 10 oz. can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- garlic salt shopping list
How to make it
- Remove skin from chicken pieces and generously sprinkle chicken with garlic salt. In large deep frying pan, melt ½ stick of butter and brown chicken. Remove from pan. Melt remaining ½ stick butter, sauté onions until brown, add raisins and cook until plump. Mix 1 can of water with can of soup. Add soup mixture to onions and raisins and simmer for 5 minutes. Add chicken and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
