Swedish Meatballs

- meatballs - (your favorite recipe, i.e.) shopping list
- chop meat shopping list
- parsley shopping list
- egg shopping list
- salt/pepper shopping list
- bread crumbs shopping list
- garlic shopping list
- parmesan shopping list
- sauce - shopping list
- onion shopping list
- beef broth shopping list
- cream shopping list
- flour shopping list
- shot of worchester sauce shopping list
- shot of ketchup shopping list
How to make it
- prepare bit size meatballs
- mince 1 medium onion and slowly brown in a little olive oil until brown (caramelized) - put aside
- add meatballs and brown the meatballs
- drain off majority of fat leave pan drippings stir in about 2 tbs of flour then slowly add beef broth (about 1 cup)
- season with worchester sauce shot of ketchup.
- simmer 10 minutes, with a fork scrape bottom of pan, season to taste
- add meatballs to sauce and simmer for about additinal 1-2 hours.
- add cream to serving dish, then slowly add meatball/sauce mixture (this way cream doesn't turn)
