Chestnut Stuffing

- 2 cups chestnuts shopping list
- 1 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup cream shopping list
- 5 tablespoons chopped parsley shopping list
- 3 tablespoons grated onions shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning shopping list
- 3 cups dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery shopping list
- 3/4 cup seedless raisins (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Shell and skin chestnuts and drop into boiling water. Cook until soft, drain.
- Put them through a potato ricer or food mill blender.
- Combine with rest of ingredients and mix well.
- Will stuff about a 10-12 pound turkey.
