Pita Pizzas

- 1 pocket pita, halved into two rounds shopping list
- 2 T classical white pizza sauce (or olive oil and a few shakes of dried Italian seasoning) shopping list
- sliced green or red pepper, red onion, mushrooms, or other veggies shopping list
- 1/4 c. crumbled reduced fat feta cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425
- While oven is preheating, slice the pita and veggies. I usually use green pepper and red onion because it's handy, but I have substituted plum tomatoes and fresh basil for a delicious mini-margherita pizza.
- Coat each pita round with 1 T of white pizza sauce or olive oil. Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning or crushed garlic if you like.
- Spread veggies evenly over each round.
- Crumble feta on top
- Bake about 10 minutes until pitas are crisp.
