How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Add egg yolk and vanilla
  • Gradually add the flour and mix well
  • Stir in crushed potato chips and pretzels
  • Shape level tablespoons of dough into 3 inch logs
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 1 1/2 inches apart
  • Bake 14-18 minutes, until edges are slightly browned
  • Cool completely on baking sheets
  • Melt semisweet chocolate chips in microwave, for 30 seconds at a time, stirring frequently, until completely melted
  • Dip one end of each log into chocolate and place on wax paper
  • Refrigerate until firm, about 10 minutes
  • Melt white chips in microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring frequently, until completely melted
  • Using a fork, drizzle melted white chips over cookies
  • Refrigerate until firm, about 10 minutes
