I ate this sandwich every summer growing up - it's so simple and easy, but just so perfect and tasty!

No..with those I spread the slice of bread with real butter, then lay sliced fesh cucumbers, sprinkling with just a pinch of sugar along with the salt and pepper.

Do you butter a cracker square and dip it in hot soup, instead of crushing crackers into the soup as is norm?

Your kind of neat, nice to have met you via cyber space.

    Kind Regards

Oh no, Hun. You're in very good company. I love these during the summer, but what I'd really like is to have one right now on this last day of dreary February. Have you ever done this with cukes?

    My Gosh!

I thought I was the only one that ate a tomato sandwich like this, the only difference is.. I don't use the second slice of bread, just open face.

It is truely a very nice way to enjoy a good Summer vine ripened tomato.

    Thank-you

    Kind Regards
