How to make it

  • Put cooked chicken and blended beans in skillet with a small amount of oil; cook until heated through; add seasoning
  • Put about 1/2 tablespoon of chicken/bean mixture onto each shell
  • Moisten the inside edges of the shell using a finger dipped in the bowl of water; cover with another shell; pinch together using a fork or fingers
  • Fry each empanada in the oil over medium heat until both sides are browned
