turkey vegetable bolognese

- 1 box multigrain spaghetti shopping list
- 1 tblsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 tblsp minced garlic shopping list
- 2 onions, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup each chopped celery, carrot, red pepper and mushrooms shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp each dried basil, oregano and thyme leaves shopping list
- 1 tsp each salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 lb lean ground turkey shopping list
- 1/3 cup tomato paste shopping list
- 796 ml can of crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- heat oil in large skillet or pan over medium heat
- add garlic, onions, celery, carrot, red pepper, and mushrooms
- saute for 15 mins or until tender
- stir in basil, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper
- crumble in turkey and saute for 5 mins
- stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes and milk
- reduce heat to medium-low
- simmer for 45 mins or until thickened
- prepare spaghetti according to pkg
- spoon sauce over hot spaghetti
