greek stewed pork Lagoto

- 1 kilo pork shoulder cubed shopping list
- i lge tin of chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 6 cloves of garlic finely chopped shopping list
- 4 tablespoons of walnuts crushed shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of toasted breadcrumbs or crushed crackers shopping list
- 3-4 allspice balls or 1/2 teaspoon dried shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- salt and ground pepper to taste shopping list
- some tomato juice or toato paste in some water shopping list
How to make it
- in frying pan saute the onions in some oil and then add pork and brown
- add tinned tomatoes and simmer for 45 mins or until pork is tender
- remove from heat and stir in crushed walnuts, breadcrumbs ,cinnamon ,allspice and season with salt and pepper
- now add garlic and simmer for 3-4 mins to combine flavours
- remove from heat , stir and allow flavours to mingle for 10 mins
- serve over rice or with a green salad ....enjoy a taste of greece
