How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Celcius.
  • Grease one bread pan.
  • Mash bananas in a bowl, add rhum if desired. Set aside.
  • Cream butter, add egg and sugar and beat until smooth.
  • Sift dry ingredients in seperate bowl.
  • Alternatively mix bananas and dry ingredients to butter, stirring by hand.
  • Pour into bread pan, and bake for one hour.
  • The cake is ready when a knife comes out clean when inserted into middle.
