Iron Rich Snack

- Raw bananas - 2 shopping list
- potato - 1 medium sized shopping list
- yellow onion - 1 shopping list
- cilantro - a few sprigs shopping list
- Tabasco - a couple of drops shopping list
- oil for shallow frying shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cut raw bananas into chunks and pressure cook along with the potato for about 10 minutes. (You could boil them or cook in using any other method to boil potatoes, its just that this way is pretty fast)
- In the meantime, slice the onion and chop cilantro into small pieces
- Stir fry the onions in 1 tsp oil
- Mash together the potato, raw bananas along with all the other ingredients.
- Take small balls of this slightly sticky dough and pat each ball in your palms to make small flat roundels.
- Shallow fry each roundel using butter spray or very little oil till they're browned on either side.
- Can be enjoyed with ketchup, or, can be placed between 2 slices of buttered bread for a quick and nutritious snack.
