Honey Chicken

- • 1 sachet Knorr Sweet & Sour Sauce shopping list
- • 750 g chicken breast, cubed shopping list
- • 85 ml cornflour shopping list
- • 2 onions, sliced shopping list
- • 2 carrots, julienne shopping list
- • 5 ml black mustard seeds (optional) shopping list
- • salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- • 250 ml boiling water shopping list
- • 1 egg white, lightly beaten shopping list
- • 45 ml olive oil shopping list
- • 1 green pepper, sliced shopping list
- • 100 g mange-tout shopping list
- • 65 ml honey shopping list
How to make it
- • Prepare the Knorr Sweet & Sour Sauce by adding 250 ml of rapidly boiling water
- • Stir with a fork for 1 minute
- • Dip half the chicken into the egg white, then lightly dust with cornflour
- • Stir-fry in a wok or frying pan over high heat using the oil
- • Cook for 4–5 min until the chicken is golden and cooked through
- • Remove from wok and drain on paper towel
- • Repeat with remaining chicken
- • Remove all chicken from the wok once complete
- • Reheat the wok adding a little extra oil if needed
- • Fry the vegetables and mustard seeds tossing until cooked through
- • Return chicken to the wok
- • Add the prepared sauce and honey
- • Season to taste
