Lazychef Sherry Trifle

- 2 Cups sweer sherry (Old Brown type) shopping list
- 1 Packet Bedoire biscuits (Finger biscuits) shopping list
- 1 Cup (250 ml) fresh creame shopping list
- 1 Tin granadille pulp (125 ml) shopping list
- 500 ml fresh milk shopping list
- 4 level Tbls Custard powder (For a thick custard) shopping list
- 45 ml sugar (To Taste) shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla essence. shopping list
- Glazed Cherries shopping list
- Walnut segments shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare custard. Mix custard powder, sugar & milk together, no lumps.
- Bring 450 ml milk to boil, pour custard mix into boiling milk, mix well, adding vanille essence, bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
- Stir in granadille pulp.
- Roll biscuits in sherry and place fisrt layer in dessert dish, be sure to leave about a biscuit width between each buscuit, place second layer horizontally across the first. leaving a spacing.
- Cover with the custard, allow to cool and set in refrigerator.
- Whip creame until stiff, spread across cold, set custard.
- Decorate with glazed cherries and walnuts. (Then call me)
