Crispy Fish Fry

- fish, sliced pieces - 500 gms shopping list
- Very fine Rava or bread crumbs shopping list
- turmeric powder - 1.5 tsp shopping list
- Red Chilly powder - 3 tsp shopping list
- coriander seeds powder - 1tsp shopping list
- lime juice - 2 tsp shopping list
- salt - 1tsp or as per taste shopping list
- cooking oil shopping list
How to make it
- Clean the fish and add some salt. Set aside for 10 mins. This enhances the taste.
- Now wash for the second time.
- In a bowl, mix the chilly powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and lime juice into thick paste.
- Now coat the fish slices with this paste. Let it stand for 5-10 mins.
- Take some rava or crumbs in a plate.
- Dip the coated slices into the crumbs/rava forming another layer.
- Dust the extra rava/crumbs off.
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry these double-coated fish slices on both sides on a medium flame.
- Add oil as required.
- Serve with onion rings and lemon slices.
