How to make it

  • Clean the fish and add some salt. Set aside for 10 mins. This enhances the taste.
  • Now wash for the second time.
  • In a bowl, mix the chilly powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and lime juice into thick paste.
  • Now coat the fish slices with this paste. Let it stand for 5-10 mins.
  • Take some rava or crumbs in a plate.
  • Dip the coated slices into the crumbs/rava forming another layer.
  • Dust the extra rava/crumbs off.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and fry these double-coated fish slices on both sides on a medium flame.
  • Add oil as required.
  • Serve with onion rings and lemon slices.
