How to make it

  • soak rice in water for half an hour and drain the water completely.
  • cut the onion and chillies lengthwise.
  • add water to the coconutmilk and make it as four cups.
  • In a cooking pot add ghee,cinnamon stick,cardamon and cloves and fry.
  • Add cashewnuts and garlic and fry till it turn brown
  • Now add onion and chillies and fry till the onion turns transparent.
  • Add the rice to it and stir gently till the rice get heated.
  • Now add the coconutmilk,salt and lemon juice.
  • cook till the water is absorbed.
  • serve hot with spicy gravy and potato chips.
