Spinach Mozzarella Quiche

- 6 large eggs shopping list
- 1 cup whole milk shopping list
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained shopping list
- 1 medium onion, diced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, ground shopping list
- 1 unbaked pie crust shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
- In a medium pan, saute the onion and garlic till caramelized.
- In a medium bowl blend eggs and milk till evenly mixed.
- Add the spinach, onion and garlic to the egg and milk mixture.
- Next add the cheese and mix well till evenly incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Sprinkle the top with a little more mozzarella if desired.
- Place pie in oven and cook till golden and puffed up in the center.
- It should be done in no more than an hour.
- When done the quiche should sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
- Server warm.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
