Spaghetti Bolognaise

- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 carrot,cut up shopping list
- 1 capsicum cut into pieces shopping list
- 1 celery stick,chopped up shopping list
- 2 tin of diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 tin of tomato paste shopping list
- chili, chopped up (depending on how hot you like it) shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- pinch of cumin seeds shopping list
- pinch of mixed herbs shopping list
- 500g of minced meat shopping list
- a splash of red wine ( white isn't bad either) shopping list
- a packet of spaghetti shopping list
How to make it
- heat the pan, drizzle in some cooking oil
- throw in the crushed garlic, chopped onion ,chili, carrot , cumin seeds pinch of salt and pepper
- stir that through until the onion is browning and your eyes are burning haha
- next chuck in the mince, break it up and stir it into the mix
- once the mince has started to cook throw in the capsicum, celery and stir that in.
- Add the tins of tomato and the paste, mix it in with your wooden spoon adding the bay leaves, mixed herbs and the wine
- once this is done lower the heat and let it simmer put a lid over the bog,
- and let it thicken. add more tomato paste to make it thicker.
- The longer you leave it the better it tastes but if your real hungry 30 mins should do.
- While your waiting start getting the spaghetti ready.
- Boil some water add a pinch of salt and chuck the spaghetti in a saucepan.
- Boil for about ten mins (if you can break the spaghetti between your fingers its ready )
- strain and serve with the bolognaise, Parmesan cheese and parsley to garnish
- im hungry time to eat!
