How to make it

  • 1. Fry your bacon, until crisp.
  • 2. Add the onion and garlic, and let sweat for a minute or two.
  • 3. Add green beans and let cook about 15 to 20 minutes
  • 4. Lay butter in pan and let melt while green beans are cooking.
  • 5. Season with whatever you want and Enjoy.

    I love seeing experienced cooks posting basic cooking recipes on here. I think those of us that have spent hundreds of hours in the kitchen tend to forget that new bride or teenager cooking their first meals and needing a place to start. No matter how much or little experience we have....we all want our food to be wonderful. This recipe has a "southern twang" with the butter and bacon. I bet it is full of flavor. Thanks for sharing.
