Rob’s Bbq Grilled Salmon

- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets shopping list
- 2 tsp garlic powder or use one garlic clove per packet if steamed shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice shopping list
- 1/3 cup olive oil shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar pineapple juice, and olive oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large resalable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours
- 2. Season salmon fillets with Salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- 3. Preheat grill for medium heat.
- 4. Lightly oil grill grate. Place salmon on the preheated grill skin side up, discarding marinade. Cook salmon 5 min then flip over and cook 5 more minutes (5 min. per side for 1 inch thick filets). Remove fish by sliding spatula between fish and skin leaving the skin on the grill. If cooked in foil, place seasoned fish in packets and add garlic and little marinate. Seal packet. Cook 5 min per side.
