How to make it

  • Peel and boil potatoes until tender. Mash sweet potatoes until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, mix and pour into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Topping: 1 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons butter at room temperature, 1/2 cup pecan pieces.
  • Mix well and crumble over sweet potato mixture. Bake 40-50 minutes at 350.
