Juicy, ripe, red tomatoes, sliced in an arrangement on a lovely plate. Add Kalamata olives, Feta cheese, fresh basil...Great for a crowd, and oh, such color for the table! Beautiful presentation. Delicious, and oh, so easy!
Ingredients
- 6-8 juicy, ripe, red tomatoes, sliced (a large platter for a crowd) shopping list
- feta cheese, crumbled shopping list
- kalamata olives, sliced (may use black, or green olives) shopping list
- fresh basil, snipped shopping list
- sea salt shopping list
- Freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- olive oil, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Place sliced tomatoes in an arrangement on a large plate or platter
- Sprinkle lightly with sea salt
- Sprinkle with crumbled Feta cheese
- Sprinkle olives on top of cheese
- At this time, may drizzle with a good quality olive oil
- Sprinkle fresh snipped basil over all
- Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over all
- This plate of red is quite beautiful, impressive
- Lovely for a buffet
