Sloppy Joes Recipe
This is a Yves Veggie recipe, and it's a bi-weekly staple at my house!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1/3 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 large Buns
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Red pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup Green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 tsp Coarse black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pkg Veggie ground round Italian

Directions
  1. 1. Heat oil in large skillet and add onion, peppers and garlic. Saute for 5-6 minutes.
  2. 2. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium and cook, uncovered for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Add crumbled Veggie Ground Round Italian. Stir well and cook 1-2 minutes more.
  4. 4. Cut each bun in half and place, open, on serving plates. Top with dollops of Sloppy Joe mixture, and shredded cheese.
