How to make it

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients.
  • Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  • Add the eggs.
  • Mix well.
  • Spread into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan
  • Bake at 350 F for 8 minutes
  • Sprinkle the coconut over the crust
  • Drizzle with the milk
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes longer or until lightly browned
  • In a heavy saucepan or microwave, melt the chocolate chips and the peanut butter
  • Stir until smooth
  • Spread over the top
  • Cool on a wire rack
  • Cut into bars
