How to make it

  • Mix all the ingredients and knead.
  • Allow to rise for about an hour.
  • (I use my bread maker to make the dough)
  • Butter the bread pan and put in the dough.
  • Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Drink the leftover beer. The brown ale comes in a 22 oz bottle, so you'll have over half the beer left - so drink up, you've earned it!
  • * I've also tried using 2 cups flour & 1 cup spelt and it turned out tasty but a bit more dense.
