Hazelnut Brown Ale Spelt Bread
From aaronbday 13 years agoIngredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour (I use Red Mill) shopping list
- 1/2 cup spelt* shopping list
- 1 cup Rogue hazelnut Brown Nectar ale shopping list
- 2 teas yeast shopping list
- 2 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1 teas salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the ingredients and knead.
- Allow to rise for about an hour.
- (I use my bread maker to make the dough)
- Butter the bread pan and put in the dough.
- Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Drink the leftover beer. The brown ale comes in a 22 oz bottle, so you'll have over half the beer left - so drink up, you've earned it!
- * I've also tried using 2 cups flour & 1 cup spelt and it turned out tasty but a bit more dense.
