Rocky Road Bars

- 1 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 2/3 cups flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup dutch process cocoa powder shopping list
- 3 cups chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup roasted salted whole almonds, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 F
- Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch, 11 x 11 inch, or simiar sized pan
- Cream together the butter, both of the sugars, baking powder, salt, and vanilla
- Beat in the eggs
- Stir in the flour, cocoa, 2 cups of the chocolate chips, and the almonds
- Pat the dough into the prepared pan
- Bake the bars for 15 minutes or until they are set around the edge but still soft in the center
- Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips
- and the marshmallows
- Bake until the marshmallows soften, about 3 minutes more.
- Remove from the oven
- Cool completely before cutting into bars
