How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F
  • Lightly grease (or line with parchment) two baking sheets
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, butterrum flavor, baking soda, and baking powder
  • Add the egg
  • Stir in the pecans and the flour
  • Drop the dough by the tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets
  • Flatten them to 1/4 inch thick
  • Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  • Remove them from the oven
  • Transfer to a rack to cool
