How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F
  • Lightly grease (or line with parchment ) two baking sheets
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, oil, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla
  • Add the eggs one at a time
  • Beat well after each addition
  • Beat in the yogurt
  • Stir in the flour
  • Add the granola
  • Drop the dough by the tablespoonful onto the prepared baking sheets
  • Bake the cookies for 12 minutes
  • They will still be light tan
  • Do Not Let The Brown - or they will crisp instead of being chewy.
  • Remove them from the oven
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes
  • Carefully transfer them to a wire rack
  • They will be delicate when warm, then become chewy as they cool
