- beef shopping list
- cooking oil ( cook the beef ) shopping list
- 4 cups water shopping list
- onion ( I put in about half a med. ) shopping list
- celery shopping list
- frozen peas shopping list
- frozen corn shopping list
- 2 teaspoons instant beef bouillon shopping list
- 1 garlic clove shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon on pepper shopping list
- potatoes ( I put 2 good sized ) shopping list
- 1/4 cup of quick cooking pearl barley ( You could do slow cook and just take it out early and add to stoup. It will finish cooking in there. ) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of spices ( I put oregano and basil = 1 teaspoon ) shopping list
How to make it
- In a huge! pot cook beef with cooking oil.
- add water mix. add onion, celery, beef bouillon, garlic and spices.
- bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
- put in your potatoes and quick cooking barley. Return to a boil; reduce heat. cover and simmer for about 15 mins or more just until meat ,potatoes and barley are tender. Add frozen veggies. and serve.
