Karen's Pepsi Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Sift together sugar and flour.
  • Mix in a suacepan: butter, shortening, cocoa, Pepsi. Bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, baking soda, eggs and marshmallows.
  • Pour into a greased 14x10 pan, bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until done in center.
  • Prepare icing while cake is baking and pour over hot cake.
  • Icing: Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil and add powdered sugar and nuts.
