Ice Cream Candy

This is from an old Pillsbury cookbook that is falling apart. I don't have the front cover and part of the pages are torn. So, I'm going to share these before the book is completely destroyed.
Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 tsp cream of tartar shopping list
- 1/2 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1 TBS glycerine shopping list
- 1 tsp extract, your choice shopping list
How to make it
- Boil the sugar, water, vinegar and glycerine together, until the mixture will spin a heavy thread. Remove from heat and when it no longer boils add the cream of tartar and extract. pour on a large buttered platter, and when sufficiently cool, pull until white.
