Fruit Cocktail Torte

This is a dessert my Grandmother would make for our Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter holidays and would serve it with lots of whipped cream. Everybody loved it. Ingredients
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 c. flour shopping list
- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- salt shopping list
- 1 can fruit cocktail, drained shopping list
- Topping: brown sugar and chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- As written by my grandmother:
- Mix all together except fruit cocktail. Mix in fruit cocktail. Place in buttered pan and sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.
- This is complete as written. I haven't made this one, but added a note to try baking at 350 degrees F. for 35-45 minutes.
