Roast & Gravy

Easy roast recipe.. leave it cooking in the crock pot, on the stove, or in the oven.
Ingredients
How to make it
- Put a little bit of oil in the bottom of your dutch oven.
- Season the roast with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Brown both sides of the roast.
- Add water until it is about 1/2 way up the roast. Put the lid on the roast and let it cook for about 2 hours.
- When the roast is finished cooking, mix together the corn starch and about a cup of water in a separate container.
- Remove the roast from the pot. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the roast juices while continuously stirring to prevent clumping.
- Return the roast to the pot.
- Serve the gravy over mashed potatoes or rice =)
