Mom's Stuffed Clams

- 12 chowder-size hard clams in shell shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay shopping list
- Few drops hot sauce shopping list
- paprika for sprinkling shopping list
How to make it
- Shuck and finely chop clams - strain and reserve liquid.
- Melt butter in pan. Add all ingredients except paprika and mix well. If mixture seems too dry, add a few drops of the reserved liquid from clams. Fill clam shells with mixture and sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 400 degrees F, until hot and bubbly. 10 to 15 minutes.
